Roll Recipe

1 1/4c. warm water
1T yeast
4T sugar
1 1/4 t. salt
1 egg
3-4 c. flour

Beat ingredients with a spoon. The batter will be a little sticky. Cover and let dough rise for about 1/2 hour. Roll out rolls and bake at 375 for about 15 min.
I usually double this recipe when making rolls.
It could also be done in a mixer.
After the rolls come out of the oven we like to
brush them with butter.
I have used this recipe for bread sticks
and cinnamon rolls as well.
