1 1/4 C butter softened
1 1/4 C brown sugar
1 C sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 C flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 - 1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 C chocolate chips
First, cream the butter, and sugars together. Then mix in the eggs, and vanilla. Add in the dry ingredients, and mix well. Lastly, mix in the chocolate chips. Let the dough chill in the fridge for at least 30 min. Bake at 350 F for 12-14 min.
Makes 4 dozen cookies.
I usually just bake 1 dozen at a time, and freeze the rest (shaped) for later. (Once they're frozen, put them in baggies with the baking instructions on it.) When you want more, just take out the amount you want, about 10 minutes before turning on the oven to preheat.
Enjoy!
