NutellaThumbprints

This is a pretty easy recipe, with few ingredients.  Perfect for having little hands help make them.

1/2 C butter, room temp.
1/3 C packed brown sugar (or 1/2 C not packed)
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 C flour
1/2 C chopped chocolate or mini chocolate chips (I chopped up some of my regular chocolate chips a bit)
Nutella

Beat butter and sugar together.  Add egg yolk, vanilla, and salt and mix.  Then add in the flour.  Finally, mix in the chocolate pieces.  On a greased cookie sheet, place balls of dough (about 1 1/2" in diameter).  Make indentation in the center of each ball, and fill it with a dab of Nutella.  Bake at 350 for 10-12 min., or until edges are lightly browned.  Enjoy!
Makes about 1 1/2 dozen.
